Solo exhibition

I’m back in NYC. 

My exhibition in Tokyo was such an incredible experience! So many people came to visit, many of my products were sold, and the workshops were a big success! Toward the end, they were fully booked, and I had to stop accepting new participants. I realized I should start promoting a little more earlier through SumiYuri Studio @sumiyuristudio next time!

At the same time, I had multiple meetings with a Turkish rug company, and we’ve decided to start an international business together going forward

The exhibition was held at Harakado, an amazing location, and these two weeks were truly fulfilling. And most of all, it was so much fun meeting up with friends and connecting with new people.

This was actually the first time I did a proper workshop and the response exceeded all my expectations. I’ve decided to keep offering more workshops in the future.

The next one will be in New York City on Sunday, October 5th, at 12 p.m. (a 4-hour workshop) at ResoBox in the East Village!

I’ll be teaching each participant with care, and I’m sure it will be a very special experience.
